– Vlada leads us into universe which could be the one which Alice found beyound the looking-glass. It is not, by any means a Disneyland world with light relief or escape routes, althrough the sky i always blue there. Archictectures and rigorous, and faceless people confronts his destiny and measures himself to it. MAybue Vlada brings us there to give us the privilege of seeking the truth contained in this symbolism, in many ways as Lewiss Caroll did. The ear-like nautilus, the book of knoweledge, the boat which carries you elswere. Again proof of fragility, of our own fragility, is omnipresent. The balance and harmony however contadict what might be frightening in this world and which obliges us to introspection. The intelligence of the artist is to hold our hand and reassure us, as he leads us alng his pictural path, much as Dante did before him. –
Born in 1954 in Gornji Milanovac, Serbia. Educated in Milanovac and Belgrade. Since 1989, he has been living and working as a free-lance artist. His paintings (over seventy five works) could alredy be found in private collections all over the world: in Holland, France, Switzerland, Norway, USA, Germany, England, South Africa… He has solo shows in Belgrade 1994, Gornji Milanovac 1995, Geneva 1996, Belgrade 1998, Cacak 1999, Kragujevac 2002, Arandjelovac 2009…
He has taken a part a lot of group exhibitions :
- In 2006 and 2007,participates in project Regard Fantastique, organized by S.A.F.I.R. Societe des Arts Fantastikue, in Paris
- From 2007, participate in project L’ange Exquis, Être Ange, Etrange, with painting ALEPH, 195×162, 2006. Realized by a collective of more then 15 international artists
